Accessibility Statement
Accessible Website
An accessible website is one that allows people with disabilities and older people to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as all other users.
Approximately 20 to 25 percent of the population encounters difficulties using the Internet and may benefit from more accessible Internet content, according to a study conducted in 2003 by Microsoft.
I believe in and works for equal opportunities in the online space for people with various disabilities and/or those who use assistive technologies to use computers.
The “Accessible Website” label is an initiative of the “Accessibility Israel” association and the Israeli Internet Association. The label is placed on websites that have undergone the necessary adjustments to make them accessible to people with disabilities. The purpose of placing the label is to promote public awareness of Internet accessibility and to inform the public browsing the site about its degree of accessibility.
This website meets the requirements of the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
The site complies with the recommendations of the Israeli standard (TI 5568) for Internet content accessibility at the AA level and the recommendations of the WCAG2.0 document from the W3C organization.
It is also optimized for display in common browsers and for use on mobile phones.
Adjustments Made
This site has undergone strict accessibility adjustments, including, among other things, semantic and informative implementation for assistive technologies, setting navigation and operation with a keyboard only according to the recommendations of the World Wide Web Standards Organization (W3C), color adjustments, and adding help labels and instructions in forms for the benefit of all users. Also, in order to obtain the best browsing experience with screen reading software, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.
We have added an accessibility helper component adapted to WordPress systems. The component allows control over font sizes, bypassing blocks, guiding texts for NVDA and Jaws screen readers, keyboard navigation that makes it easier to browse the site without using a mouse, adjustments to the site’s compatibility for browsing with NVDA and Jaws screen readers, creating comfort for viewing the site in black and white/color contrast, blocking animation and any moving element on the site, highlighting links.
For the best browsing experience with screen reading software, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.
It should be noted that despite our efforts to make all pages on the site accessible, the attached documents (such as PDF, Word, Excel), internal management system, and video files, are still in the process of being made accessible, and we are working to complete this.
If you require a document that appears on the site and is not accessible, please contact us with a link to the location and we will take care of it as soon as possible.
If you find a component or page on the site that is inaccessible, we would be happy if you contact us and we will make sure to fix it as soon as possible.
