Lessons from My Journey
My journey taught me that learning music shouldn’t be about rigid rules; it’s all about the magic of hearing YOUR favorite songs come out of your hands. People who learn this way - never quit playing.
I didn’t grow up in a musical family or go to a fancy music school. I was 19 when I picked up an instrument for the first time – the guitar – and everything changed.
That day sparked an ongoing 16-year adventure. I left my home in the Israeli countryside and slowly traveled and lived around the world, always with my guitar and harmonicas.
I soon realized that music is the most fun way to build new friendships and find your community. I experienced this everywhere, from rural towns in New Zealand, to more musical places I lived at – New Orleans, Austin Texas, Amsterdam, and Byron Bay in Australia.
My musical education came from an obsessive desire to learn. I dove into 100’s of books and courses, but my biggest lessons came from connecting with fellow music lovers wherever I was—jammin’ and learning together in living rooms and home studios.
Those experiences shaped my life mission: to help more people fall in love with music and feel more alive – through playing their favorite songs.
I believe music isn’t a rare talent you’re born with – it’s something you can grow into.
You don’t need to be a natural-born “musician.” You just need that early grain of passion, and your harmonica. If I did it, so can you.
Answering Your Common Questions:
After payment, is the course open to me for life?
That’s right, there is no time limit, registration is a one-time payment that gives you free access to the course for life.
If I already have a harmonica, can I purchase it without the harmonica included?
It is possible, but it is highly not recommended. (A link to purchase without a harmonica appears here at the end of the answer)
The harmonica I send with the course – Easttop 008L, is a great model harmonica that you will probably have much more fun playing with than the harmonica you currently have. There is a reason I also play this model myself most of the time.

This is a relatively new model harmonica that broke the market, and in my opinion it is more enjoyable to play and of higher quality than all the models I used to play – which cost around 200 NIS.
If you definitely have a diatonic harmonica (diatonic = the smallest and most common type) in the C scale, meaning the letter C is written in small letters on one side of the harmonica, then during the purchase you have the option to choose a course without a harmonica.
Do I need to know how to read music notes? Or do I need to have a previous background in music?
There’s no need to know how to read music – the harmonica is much easier than that.
In the course we don’t use notes, but rather “tabs,” which is the accepted method for reading music on the harmonica. It’s a super simple method that doesn’t require you to “decipher” strange symbols, but simply uses numbers, and these numbers indicate the number of the hole on the harmonica where you should inhale/blow out.
What are harmonica tabs called ?
For example, if it says the number 5, then it means to blow into the hole in the harmonica above which is the number 5, (if you look at a harmonica closely, you will see that there are small numbers above the holes) and if it says 5, then it means to inhale from that hole.
I have no musical experience, will the course be suitable for me?
One hundred percent. Around half of the course students so far have come without any previous experience with an instrument, and many of them have continued on to my other guitar courses after their success.
The harmonica is an ideal instrument to start with, and the course is also suitable for people with no experience at all, with the explanations starting right from the basics. (And the lessons also reach advanced levels, and will “grow” with you in the coming months)

I already have a background in harmonica, will the course help me?
Absolutely. First of all, the course starts from the very basics of the harmonica, but it includes dozens of lessons that go all the way to an advanced level in harmonica, and you can continue to grow with the course in the coming months, at your own pace.
I think the course has very significant advantages over any other course in the world (beyond the fact that it is the only modern course in Hebrew ) – and that it makes the two main topics in harmonica accessible to everyone in a very practical way:
1 – The theme of playing any song you love, and not just mechanically, but in a way full of emotion, and with the personal style you develop. I will teach you 11 advanced techniques for adding beauty and emotion to the playing of songs to develop a professional sound.
2 – The topic of gymjums: playing with friends and improvising solos – where the course has already proven to thousands of students that there is no need to come with prior experience, and it is possible to successfully enter the huge fun of making music with friends from the very beginning.
The harmonica is the ideal instrument to learn how to jam on – since it is a diatonic instrument – meaning it has no “wrong” notes.

Can I do the course with a chromatic harmonica? (with a button on the side)
The course is designed for learning with a 10-hole diatonic harmonica – the most common type of harmonica. (The vast majority of harmonica melodies we hear in songs, from Bob Dylan to newer stuff, are played on this type of harmonica.)
Although the things you will learn in the course will allow you to understand most of the playing principles that are relevant to other types of less popular harmonicas, you will not be able to do the course with them because, for example, the tabs (notes) that I provide in the course will be “wrong” if you try them on such harmonicas (in which the arrangement of the notes is different), so it will simply not be a fun experience for you.
Therefore, I am including a quality and suitable harmonica with the course.
How long should you exercise to see results?
The beauty of the harmonica is that it is an instrument that doesn’t require a lot of practice to see a lot of results.
On the contrary – it is an instrument that, in my opinion, “comes best” when played “in small doses.” This means that even two or three times a week of playing for 5-10 minutes will get you very far over time.
The emphasis is not on “practicing” – but on playing for fun and for the soul – when we feel like it. And when you feel like investing more than 5-10 minutes a few times a week – it is welcome and you will see even greater improvement and at a high speed.
And even if there are occasional periods when you don’t play at all, that’s also perfectly fine and you can get back to things right away when you feel like it, even if many months have passed.
