I just started playing harmonica recently, is this course for me?
Yes.
This course is for players who already know how to play single notes and basic melodies.
If you can play some songs but they still sound stiff, thin, or robotic, this course is exactly for you.
If you never held a harmonica before – I recommend starting with my foundations course first.
I have been paying for several years, is this course for me?
Absolutely.
The course is built specifically to break the “plateau” most players get to early on – staying stuck at that same level of playing “mechanically.”
This course moves you past that stage – teaching you how to finally approach the instrument like how professional musicians do.
I’ve seen students with even 20-30 years of playing experience whose playing was completely changed after learning those techniques.
What harmonica do I need for the course?
A 10 hole diatonic harmonica in the key of C.
If you don’t have one yet, or not sure you have a good one, I recommend the Easttop Lightning – it’s affordable ($30), beautiful tone, and fast response.
It’s the one I usually play myself.
If you have an old / super-cheap harmonica at home, I highly recommend you get a new one instead, since it will surely be more fun to play and will sound better.

My journey taught me that learning music shouldn’t be about rigid rules; it’s all about the magic of hearing YOUR favorite songs come out of your hands. People who learn this way - never quit playing.
I didn’t grow up in a musical family or go to a fancy music school. I was 19 when I picked up an instrument for the first time – the guitar – and everything changed.
That day sparked an ongoing 16-year adventure. I left my home in the Israeli countryside and slowly traveled and lived around the world, always with my guitar and harmonicas.
I soon realized that music is the most fun way to build new friendships and find your community. I experienced this everywhere, from rural towns in New Zealand, to more musical places I lived at – New Orleans, Austin Texas, Amsterdam, and Byron Bay in Australia.
My musical education came from an obsessive desire to learn. I dove into 100’s of books and courses, but my biggest lessons came from connecting with fellow music lovers wherever I was, jammin’ and learning together in living rooms and home studios.
Those experiences shaped my life mission: to help more people fall in love with music and feel more alive – through playing their favorite songs.
